Y’all remember when Karyl Ann Armbruster had that rant against a former student with Brian Collom? Something about alleging that the kid was “spectrum”. Anyways, turns out the student filed a FERPA complaint with the United States Department of Education’s Family Policy Compliance Office.
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act is a Federal law which affords certain rights with regard to education records. Education records are defined under FERPA as records that are directly related to a student and which are maintained by an educational agency or institution or by a party acting for the agency or institution. Anyways, sounds pretty serious.
Good luck Armbruster. Seems like you’ll need it. Maybe Brian, too.
